In order to protect web servers connected to weak lines or to very quickly divert traffic in an emergency, DDoS-Guard offers the so-called "Redirect Mode".

In this case, DDoS-Guard has broadband access while the protected systems can remain in a "weaker" environment.

Only legitimate requests are passed on to the real servers at the application level (http redirect).
